Mr Ahmed is Chartered Counselling Psychologist who completed his chartership at City University in 2006. He has experience of providing treatment for a wide range of problems including, but not limited to, anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder; depression, recurrent depression, grief and bereavement; relationship difficulties; self-harm; anger; stress. Mr Ahmed’s approach is informed by the latest psychological research and incorporates the psychological principles that underpin many therapeutic models including cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and systemic family therapy. Mr Ahmed is also a guest lecturer for Counselling Psychologists in training at City University. He can also provide input in Sylheti (Bengali).
